Executive Managing Director
Ahmed Bin Abbood Al Adawi is a business executive who specializes in strategic and financial planning, organizational management, and operational efficiency to lead companies in achieving business growth and profitability. He is a certified Executive MBA with 20 years of industry experience across business development, operations, finance, staffing, and compliance.
He is the Executive Managing Director of TAPCO which he assumed in December 2020 after serving Emirates CMS Power Company in the same capacity for nearly four years. Furthermore, he currently serves as Chairman of the Board for Shared Facilities Company (SFCO). Prior to this, he was the Senior VP of Power and Water Division at Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA). He represented TAQA as Board Member of several of their subsidiaries such as Jubail Power Company, Fujairah Power Company, and TAQA Generation Power Company.
He obtained his master’s degree in Business Administration from London Business School and has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Evansville, Indiana, USA.
